In accordance with the holiday, I though we should have a topic telling about how God has blessed us by our country. What has being American done for you?

1. We could be in some third world country, starving and uneducated...we're not.

2. We have freedoms! Equality! And Opportunity!

3. We can work hard and better our lives. In some countries, one cannot do that.

4. We live in a nation founded by Christians! [img]smile.gif[/img]

5. We live in the BEST country IN THE WORLD! [img]smile.gif[/img]

1. I'm pretty sure they don't have "Fruit<font size="1">2</font>O" in other countries so, I'm pretty thankful for that. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Yeah! That's true. We do get some inventions, etc. that other countries don't have. We also have more pharmeseuticals because we don't have socialized medicine. [img]smile.gif[/img] We also have more sanitary cities, etc. so we don't have things like bird flu! Democracy is great!

I know it's not "politically correct" to say it, but I do think we live in the greatest country on earth! Where else can you openly disagree with your government without fear of prision or excecution? That alone should be enough to get us listed as number one!

I am proud of my nation, and I am proud to be an American!

Thank you Lord for inspiring the founding fathers to take your Word and create a nation where everyone is someone!
